Canadian regulations stick it to manufacturer; Jamestown Plastics finds solution.

A major adhesives manufacturer selling glue in Canada had a problem. Canada has a stringent (600-pound gorilla) child-resistant packaging regulation, forcing the use of extremely excessive consumer packaging that both consumers and manufacturers despised. To comply, the manufacturer literally put their tubes of glue into child-resistant pill bottles and then packaged these pill bottles into blister cards. Talk about excessive! This led them to Jamestown Plastics.

We solved this dilemma with a Clamtainer package that is not only far less costly, but also meets these strict Canadian child resistant packaging requirements. This new Clamtainer packaging also meets with consumer approval as sales have gone up, while packaging costs have gone down.
